I graduated with my Associates Degree in Graphic Design at the Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale in 2015. I don't think I knew 100% where I wanted to be in my career when I first started off, so I just ventured off and hoped eventually I would figure it out.

I started off with a few freelance jobs, then went into social media marketing and ended up back with trying to accomplish print design. I was good at it but I knew I wasn't happy and I felt I needed something else.

I was first introduced to surface design (SPD) back in 2016. I knew nothing about it but was very intrigued when I learned there was a whole community of amazing artists who were doing this type of art.

I wanted to learn more, so I spent hours researching and studying how to make a seamless pattern. Once I figured it out, I was hooked.

Surface design didn't become a serious thing for me until 2018 when I discovered Spoonflower. It's where I learned what my style was, what techniques I like and types of art that truly inspire me. The fact that I discovered I could put my own illustrations into a seamless pattern made me fall absolutely in love.

Now going on 5 years as a full time illustrator and Surface pattern designer I couldn't be any happier. As the years go on I hope to continue to work with amazing companies and small businesses and grow more as an artist.

Follow my blog to see projects I'm currently working on or get to know me a little more on a personal level. If you are interested in licensing some designs I would love to hear from you!
